If you’ve ever tried to buy CBD oil on Amazon, you may have noticed none of the products mention CBD. That’s because Amazon doesn’t allow the sale of CBD, and unscrupulous sellers fool people into buying hemp oil products. Hemp oil is made from hemp seeds, which don’t contain any CBD or other cannabinoids.
But one CBD company recently found a way to sell real CBD products on Amazon. Extract Labs, a reputable CBD brand founded in 2016 in Colorado, is currently the only vendor selling legit CBD oil, capsules, gummies, and creams on Amazon.
So, how did they do it? As Extract Labs explains on its website, they don’t mention CBD anywhere on the product label or Amazon page. Apparently, as long as you do that, you can sell products containing CBD on Amazon.
That’s why its Amazon products say “hemp” instead of “CBD” on the label. Aside from that, the products are 100% identical to the ones they sell on their website (which do contain CBD and other cannabinoids).
To be honest, I’m a little surprised it’s that simple. I would’ve expected other leading CBD brands to use the same trick to get their products on Amazon. Maybe this is a loophole that Amazon missed, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Whatever the case, this is excellent news if you prefer to buy stuff from Amazon. To reiterate, Extract Labs is currently the only legit seller of CBD oil and other CBD products on Amazon that I am aware of. If you want to buy real CBD on Amazon, it’s currently the only option.
