My experience: I tried both the 1000 mg and 2500 mg full-spectrum CBD oil. The 2500 mg fresh mint tincture was one of the most potent CBD oils I’ve ever tried. I felt relaxed and slept really well after taking it. The tincture has a subtle mint flavor and a dark color that I usually notice with quality CBD oils rich in cannabinoids and terpenes.

CBD Softgels

R&R’s softgels provide the same full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD as the oils but in capsule form. They’re available in 30 mg, 60 mg, and 90 mg strengths.

My experience: The capsules were tasteless and had weaker but longer-lasting effects than the tincture (as expected). I like the variety of strengths to meet everyone’s needs.

My experience: The gummies were my favorite R&R product because they were exceptionally tasty and had noticeable, long-lasting effects when I took several pieces at once. They were so good that I went through the whole container in only a few days. I also like the premium ingredients, like pectin instead of gelatin and tapioca syrup instead of glucose syrup.

CBD + CBN Sleep Gummies

My experience: I used a sample of the cream my shoulders after a workout and did notice a bit of soreness relief, which is a great sign because many CBD topicals contain menthol, making it hard to see if the CBD is doing anything. I like the formula and price point.

These CBD dog chews are made with full-spectrum CBD. They carry 5 mg CBD per piece with a chicken flavor.

My experience: I gave a sample of the chews to a friend and he said his dog liked them and acted more chill afterwards.

The easiest way to compare the value of CBD products is to divide the total cost by the amount of CBD. For example, if you have a 1500 mg CBD oil that costs $100, its price per milligram (mg) of CBD would be 100/1500 = $0.07, which is 7 cents.

You also have to keep in mind that different CBD product categories (oils, capsules, gummies, etc.) vary in price.

R&R CBD does everything from farm to product locally in Colorado, starting with organic hemp farms. The hemp is extracted with supercritical CO2 (carbon dioxide), one of the two most common CBD extraction methods.

R&R orders independent testing of its products from California’s SC Labs, a well-respected cannabis testing lab.

Third-Party Test Results

I always look at third-party lab test results to confirm that CBD companies sell safe, accurate, and effective products. Specifically, I check for:

• The levels of CBD, which should be within 10% of the label (3)
• The levels of minor cannabinoids like CBG and CBC
• The levels of THC
• Whether the CBD type (full, broad-spectrum, or isolate) is accurate
• Whether there are any contaminants

• The tincture contains 2778 mg of CBD, which is only 11.1% more than the label. That’s slightly outside the accurate range but still a good result
• The gummies contain 8.4% more CBD, which is an excellent result
• The capsules have only 2.6% more CBD, another great result

These results and the other ones I looked at are below or slightly above the 10% cutoff, so I consider them accurately labeled. The only exception was the dog pet chews, which contained 20% more than labeled. But that’s still a good result because the chews have small amounts of CBD (5 mg) so it’s harder to maintain accuracy.

All of the products also contained the advertised type of CBD, with the tests showing multiple cannabinoids and terpenes. My only complaint is that the gummies had relatively low levels of minor hemp cannabinoids.

Overall, the test reports for R&R check off all the right boxes: they’re up-to-date, comprehensive (cannabinoids, terpenes, and contaminants), and match the label.

But I’d like to see separate reviews for each product instead of unified reviews on one page. And it would be nice to have more info about the people behind R&R for greater transparency.

The Verdict: Affordable Brand With High-Quality Products

R&R is a top-tier CBD company. It has affordable prices for quality full-spectrum CBD, offers a versatile (but not overwhelming) variety, and has many USDA-certified organic products.

I had the chance to try out its CBD oil, capsules, gummies, and cream, finding them to be comparable or stronger in effects than other leading brands. I’m also a big fan of the quality ingredients and informative labels which show not only the CBD content and extract type but even the amounts of other cannabinoids per serving. 

But I do have some suggestions for improvement. It would be nice to see separate customer reviews for each product instead of unified Google reviews. R&R CBD should also add a 2500 mg THC-free tincture.
