Nevada’s Moonwlkr specializes in intoxicating hemp-derived THC products, like delta-8 and delta-9 THC, as well as CBD-rich options. We tested out multiple gummies and vape, which had potent and consistent effects, even if the flavor was hit-and-miss.

Moonwlkr CBD Overview

Moonwlkr is a popular hemp THC vendor based in Henderson, Nevada. They started out selling delta-8 THC products but have since expanded into delta-9 THC, CBD, and other cannabinoid options. 

Moonwlkr is best known for its huge variety of gummy flavors and formulas that frequently combine delta-8 or delta-9 THC with other cannabinoids. The vendor has affordable prices and frequent sales, making it a popular option for legal, hemp-derived THC. 

More importantly, all products are backed by recent, full-panel third-party testing.

Moonwlkr CBD Product Lineup

Moonwlkr sells a wide variety of intoxicating THC products, including HHC, THCP, and THCa, as well as non-intoxicating CBD, CBN, CBG, and THCV options. You can choose from gummies and vapes in many flavors and formulations, as well as tinctures, and pre-rolls. 

For this review, Antonio received and tested multiple flavors of delta-8 gummies, delta-9 gummies, CBD gummies (pain and sleep), and delta-8 vape cartridge. 

Delta-8 THC Gummies

Moonwlkr is best known for offering a huge variety of delta-8 gummy flavors and formulas. You can choose from:

• 25 mg delta-8 THC gummies in many flavors
• 25 mg D8 + 25 mg CBD gummies
• 25 mg D8 + 10 mg delta-9 THC gummies
• Blend gummies with 25 mg D8, 10 mg D9, and 1 mg THCP, a highly-potent form of THC

All of Moonwlkr’s gummies are made with vegan ingredients. However, some flavors contain artificial flavoring. 

Antonio’s experience: I tried one Blue Dream gummy and liked the texture and flavor. The effects started after 30 minutes and fully kicked in after an hour. The high was strong, with a heavy body feeling, red/dry eyes, and dry mouth. I felt thirsty, hungry, and oddly energized. The effects lasted about 3 hours. I’d rate the high a 7/10. I also tried the Pina Colada flavor, which had similar effects.

Delta-8 THC Tincture

This simple delta-8 THC tincture is flavored with orange cremesicle. 

Delta-8 Disposable Vape Pens & Carts

These potent delta-8 THC disposable 2g vape pens and 1-gram cartridges come in thirteen cannabis-inspired terpene flavors. There’s also a special (celestial) blend vape with added CBD live rosin and THCP.

It’s great to see that Moonwlkr does terpene testing for these, so you can confirm terpenes are actually present. 

Antonio’s experience: I’ve tried a lot of different delta 8 cartridges and this is honestly one of the worst I’ve had. I took one 3 second inhale and it was super harsh. I started coughing immediately and couldn’t stop on and off for about 5 minutes. The cartridge has added terpenes, natural and artificial flavor, which is what I believe caused the harshness.

Although I didn’t take any other inhales, and coughed on and off for 5 minutes. Within 10 minutes I already had a strong mental and body high. My eyelids got heavy, red, and dry. I got cottonmouth and mildly hungry.

Delta-9 THC Gummies

Moonwlkr’s delta-9 THC gummies come in three formulas:

• 10 mg delta-9 THC
• Microdose gummies with 2.5 mg D9 and 5 mg CBD and 100 mg Lion’s Mane
• Libido gummies with 10 mg D9 plus the libido-boosting ingredients cordyceps, maca, tribulus, and red ginseng

I like the variety and the innovative formulas, but some gummies contain artificial flavoring. 

Antonio’s experience: I tried the 10 mg cotton candy gummy. The texture was typical, but the taste wasn’t great. However, the effects were solid. After 30 minutes, I started to feel a mild body and cerebral high that peaked after an hour. Overall the high was around 5/10. My eyes got red and dry, and I had cottonmouth and serious munchies. The effects lasted about 3 hours. The pink lemonade delta-9 gummies were my favorite in terms of flavor and had similar effects.

HHC Gummies

Hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) is an intoxicating, manmade cannabinoid that’s weaker than delta-9 THC and similar to delta-8 in strength and effects. 

CBD Gummies

Moonwlkr also offers a variety of CBD-rich gummy formulas:

• Full-spectrum CBD gummies with 25 mg CBD/5 mg THC
• Sleep gummies with 25 mg CBD, 10 mg CBN (with or without 5 mg THC)
• Sleep gummies with 25 mg CBD/2 mg THC and 3 mg melatonin
• Pain gummies with 25 mg CBD + 10 mg CBG + 200 mg anti-inflammatory curcumin (with or without 5 mg THC)
• Pure 25 mg CBD gummies with 150 mg ashwagandha, a popular anti-stress herb

I like the variety, but the full-spectrum gummies are a bit low in minor cannabinoids. Also, most of these formulas combine 2 isolates, rather than a proper broad-spectrum extract. 

Antonio’s experience: I tried the CBD+CBG pain gummies, which were strangely oily. You could see the residual oil in the bottle. The texture was also a little strange, being more mushy than gummy, and I was not a fan of the mixed berry flavor. I did a few rigorous HIIT workouts 2 days before trying these. They didn’t fully reduce my pain, but I did notice slightly less soreness in my muscles starting 30 minutes later, and for about 4 hours afterward. 

Meanwhile, the pain gummies with CBG, THC, and curcumin were my overall favorite Moonwlkr gummies. I liked the lime ginger flavor and marshmallow-like texture. I took 2 of these gummies at a time, getting slightly high, and noticed reduced muscle soreness, as well as getting dry, red eyes, along with dry mouth and increased hunger.

I also took the melatonin sleep gummies, which had a nice flavor. I took one before bedtime and started feeling sleepy about 30 minutes later and was ready to pass out within an hour. I went to bed and fell asleep immediately, and I stayed asleep throughout most of the night. I did wake up in the middle of the night with dry mouth and I got up for water. I felt very drowsy though so I went back to bed and fell right asleep. 

THCV Gummies

These gummies contain 10 mg of tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), a cannabinoid that seems to boost energy & focus and reduce appetite. They also carry 500 mg of apple cider vinegar (ACV) per piece, another ingredient believed to help with weight loss.

THCa Pre-Rolls

These pre-rolls contain high levels of THCa, the precursor to THC made by cannabis plants. Like proper cannabis flower they also contain significant amounts of other cannabinoids, including CBDa and CBD.

Price & Value

Here’s a breakdown of Moonwlkr CBD’s prices:

• Delta-8 gummies: 3-10 cents per mg of delta-8 THC
• Delta-9 gummies: 14-16 cents per mg of delta-9 THC
• CBD gummies: 3-9 cents per mg
• Delta-8 vapes: 2-4 cents per mg
• THCa pre-rolls: 4 cents per mg

Most of these prices are cheaper than the market average, especially if we’re not counting the 4-gummy sample packs. Moonwlkr also has a subscription option for 25% off and frequent sales, as well as increased savings if you buy multiple packs. 

All in all, you’re getting pretty good value for hemp-derived intoxicating THC products. 

Hemp Source and Production Process

Unfortunately, Moonwlkr doesn’t provide a whole lot of details about its process. Moonwlkr says it uses organic hemp grown in Colorado and makes the products in Henderson, Nevada. It would be nice to know how the hemp is extracted, for example. 

Third-Party Testing

Moonwlkr sends its products to be comprehensively tested by ACS Laboratories, one of the biggest cannabis & hemp labs in the country. A few tests, like the pre-rolls, are done by Harrens Lab, a smaller lab based in California. 

The products are tested for potency (including terpene profile for vapes) and contaminants, with the reports available on the lab results page. 

Third-Party Test Results

I always look at third-party lab test results to confirm that CBD companies sell safe, accurate, and effective products. Specifically, I check:

• The cannabinoid content, which should be within 10% of the label (3)
• The levels of THC and minor cannabinoids like CBG and CBN
• The terpene content (if tested)
• Whether the CBD type (full, broad-spectrum, or isolate) is accurate
• Whether there are any contaminants

I checked the latest certificates of analysis (CoA) to make sure they’re accurate and legal (within 0.3% delta-9 THC). The only big thing that stood out is that many gummies are missing full contaminant tests and only show potency test results. 

Aside from that and some products containing more THC than advertised, everything else looked good. 

I added screenshots of two CoAs for a detailed explanation: 

1. The 25 mg delta-8 THC gummies CoA found 28.4 mg of delta-8, which is 13.6% higher, not a bad result. The test also found 0.049% delta-9 THC, which is within the 0.3% legal limit for hemp. 
2. The totally tropical sleep gummies should have 25 mg CBD, 10 mg CBN, and 5 mg THC, with tests finding 32 mg/11 mg/6 mg, which is a bit higher than advertised but still reasonable. 

Overall, the test results are solid and up-to-date. But I’d like to see contaminant testing for all products.

Shipping & Returns

Moonwlkr offers free US shipping on orders over $90. All shipments are discrete, but do keep in mind that some states ban or regulate delta-8 THC. 

Moonwlkr also ships internationally, but fees and delivery times vary by country. There’s also a risk of having your shipments seized at customs or sent back. 

Moonwlkr has a standard 30-day return policy, so you can return unopened items within 30 days of receiving them. 

Customer Service & Reputation

Moonwlkr has over 15,000 mostly positive reviews on its website and a fairly good reputation on sites like Reddit. When we reached out via email, they were eager to send us a bunch of their products to test out and review without any hassle.

Aside from that though, Moonwlkr isn’t the most transparent delta-8 THC vendor. I would like to see more details about the company, especially when competitor brands like Hometown Hero reveal the identities of their founders and are active in supporting veterans in Texas.

Our Verdict: Not Perfect, But Solid Option for Hemp-Derived THC

Moonwlkr is one of my favorite brands for delta-8 THC and other legal, hemp-derived intoxicating products. There are plenty of flavors, strengths, and formulas to choose from, and the frequent sales help bring down an already reasonable price. 

Most of the products we tested were surprisingly consistent, kicking in after about 30 minutes with potent psychoactive effects. We also liked the innovative pain gummies with curcumin. The vape was a bit harsh, but maybe we got unlucky and received a janky one.

I’d also prefer Moonwlkr to use full-spectrum CBD for sleep and pain formulas for greater effectiveness. Right now, it’s just multiple isolates combined. It would also be nice to have more transparency, like which hemp extraction methods are used.
