Fab CBD Overview
Fab CBD was founded in 2017 with the goal of creating straightforward CBD products. The company is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It uses organically grown hemp, solvent-free CO2 extraction, and sends its products for independent testing.
Fab CBD sells varying flavors and potencies of CBD and CBG oil, gummies, topicals, dog treats, and CBD-free powdered “superfood” supplements, so there’s something here for everyone.
The company is committed to giving back to the community by donating time and money to various charities including the Make-a-Wish Foundation, One Tree Planted, and Charlie Rocket’s Dream Machine.
CBD Terminology
- Hemp: cannabis variety with high CBD and low THC levels (no more than 0.3%).
- Terpenes: aromatic plant compounds with various beneficial properties (1).
- Minor cannabinoids: CBN, CBG, CBC, and other beneficial cannabinoids found in smaller amounts in hemp. They may work in synergy with CBD.
- Full-spectrum: whole-plant hemp extract containing multiple cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. This form of CBD is about four times more potent than pure CBD (2).
- Broad-spectrum: whole-plant hemp extract similar to full-spectrum CBD, but with THC removed (may contain trace amounts).
- CBD isolate: pure CBD without any other hemp compounds.
Fab CBD Product Lineup
Fab CBD has a straightforward product line featuring varying flavors and potencies of CBD oil tinctures, softgels, gummies, topical products, and pet options.

For this review, I tried out the 2400 mg CBD oil, CBG oil, PM gummies, and complete cannabinoid softgels.

The cornerstone of Fab CBD is its full-spectrum tinctures.
There are five flavors to choose from: natural, citrus, mint, vanilla, and berry, and four strengths of 300mg, 600mg, 1200mg, or 2400mg. Thanks to this impressive flavor variety, this tincture made it to my list of the best CBD oils of 2023.
The terpene levels in these oils are also impressive, with 12 different terpenes listed on the third-party tests.
My experience: The tincture has a nice mint flavor that’s not too strong. As for the effects, I felt relaxed and calm. This tincture is about as strong as similar CBD oils from other top-tier brands.

FAB’s CBD+CBG oil contains 2400 mg of CBD and CBG (1200 mg of CBD and 1200mg of CBG at a 1:1 ratio). It comes in three flavors: natural, citrus, and mint, and I like that this is a full-spectrum, high-potency product that’s also affordable.
My experience: The mild citrus taste is pleasant. I took 1 ml (80 mg) in the morning and noticed the effects in about 40 minutes, feeling more upbeat and energetic.

These unique full-spectrum softgels contain equal amounts of CBD and three minor cannabinoids: CBC, CBN, and CBG. You get 3.75 mg of each for a total of 15 mg per capsule, plus smaller amounts of other minor cannabinoids and terpenes.
We’re fans of these softgels because they maximize the benefits of multiple cannabinoids in one convenient product.
My experience: I took 5 softgels during the day after a meal. The effects kicked in about 60 minutes later and I felt calmer, more energetic, and my mood improved. The effects lasted for a few hours.
CBD Gummies
Fab has three types of gummies: anytime, nighttime, and delta-9 THC.

Fab CBD Nighttime gummies are made to be used at night for sleep support. They’re Acai flavored and contain 12.5 mg of broad-spectrum CBD with a total of 60 servings per bottle.
We’re also fans of the added, research-backed sleep ingredients melatonin, l-theanine, GABA, 5-HTP, and ashwagandha to support the effects of CBD. But I’d like to see higher minor cannabinoid levels.
My experience: I took two gummies before bed, fell asleep faster, and slept well. The gummies tasted delicious, making it hard to stick only to two.

I like the high CBD potency the minor cannabinoid levels are a bit low for a full-spectrum product.

This hemp and CBD-free product is a nutritionally dense powdered supplement that contains 30 servings of over 80 micro-nutrients.
Both flavors are gluten-free, vegan, keto-friendly, dairy-free, soy-free, and non-GMO, and have an exhaustive ingredients list including flaxseed, beets, raspberries, cranberries, strawberries, wheatgrass, alfalfa, kale, turmeric, and ginger root to name a few.
Price & Value
The easiest way to compare the value of CBD products is to divide the total cost by the amount of CBD. For example, if you have a 1500 mg CBD oil that costs $100, its price per milligram (mg) of CBD would be 100/1500 = $0.07.
You also have to consider that the prices vary by product type.
Here’s the breakdown of Fab CBD’s prices:
- CBD oil: $0.05- $0.13 per mg
- Capsules: $0.09 per mg
- Gummies: $0.07-$0.11 per mg
- Topicals: $0.05-$0.08 per mg
Most of these prices are slightly cheaper than average, although the topical products are relatively inexpensive. Overall, you’re getting above-average value from Fab.
Hemp Source and Production Process
Fab CBD uses organically grown hemp sourced from Colorado. Regarding the extraction process, it does use supercritical CO2 extraction, which is one of the most common and effective methods of CBD extraction.
But it would be nice to get a little more information.
Third-Party Testing
Fab CBD orders independent third-party laboratory testing from Massachusetts’ ProVerde Labs, one of the most reputable cannabis testing labs in the country.
It checks for contaminants like heavy metals, pesticides, yeast, mold, and cannabinoid and terpene levels. The lab results can be found under each product description or on the Fab CBD website under the Lab Reports tab.
Third-Party Test Results
I always look at third-party lab test results to confirm that CBD companies sell safe, accurate, and effective products. Specifically, I check for:
- The levels of CBD, which should be within 10% of the label (3)
- The levels of minor cannabinoids like CBG and CBC
- The levels of THC
- Whether the CBD type (full, broad-spectrum, or isolate) is accurate
- Whether there are any contaminants

I added three third-party test reports for Fab’s CBD oil, cream, and nighttime gummies above. Here’s what I found:
- The 1200 mg CBD oil contained 1341 mg of CBD, which is 11.8% more. The tests also showed significant levels of many terpenes, which is a good sign.
- The 600 mg CBD cream contained about 697.41 mg, which is 16.2% higher.
- The 12.5 mg CBD nighttime gummies contained 11.9 mg, which is about 4% less. However, the tests show only a small amount of one non-CBD cannabinoid, which is a weak result for a broad-spectrum product.
Overall, these results are pretty good and I like that the tests are up-to-date and include terpene potency. But there is room for improvement.
Shipping & Returns
As far as I can tell, Fab CBD ships to the United States and internationally but it wasn’t clear if it was worldwide to every country. Shipping costs are determined by the weight and price of your total checkout, with standard shipping taking an estimated 5-7 business days.
There is a 30-day money-back guarantee but return shipping costs are not refundable. They will pay for return shipping if the reason is a mistake of Fab CBD (eg. receiving an incorrect or broken item), and no returns can be accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Customer Service & Reputation
Fab CBD is a customer service-focused company and is involved with several charities including Make a Wish Foundation, One Tree Planted, and Charlie Rocket’s Dream Machine.
As per online reviews — Fab CBD has a five-star rating with over 2,000 reviews on its website and a handful of positive reviews on the independent review site Trustpilot.
All in all, Fab CBD is a great brand, even if it’s not quite as well-known as top-tier CBD companies.

My Verdict: Solid Brand With Some Room to Improve
There’s a lot to like about Fab CBD. It works with a highly reputable third-party lab and has a straightforward line of effective products.
We’re also fans of its product variety, multi-cannabinoid capsules, and full-spectrum CBD oils, plus the fact that it contributes to charitable causes.
But there is room to improve. Some full-spectrum products contain low amounts of minor cannabinoids and I’d like to see more detailed product labels and descriptions. For example, the dog treats don’t list the total amount of CBD in the whole bag.
