One of the oldest and most respected CBD brands in the world, Endoca uses Danish-grown organic hemp to create potent, high-quality, full-spectrum CBD products. It offers everything from CBD oils and extracts to chewing gum — all thoroughly tested by in-house and third-party labs.

Bottom line: Endoca is one of the best CBD brands on the market, especially for full-spectrum products.

Pros:

  • Full-spectrum and THC-free options
  • Potent products (up to 300 mg/ml)
  • Thorough in-house and third-party testing
  • Raw unprocessed formulas available
  • Vertically integrated company
  • Organic Danish hemp source

Cons:

  • Unflavored CBD oil has a strong taste
  • Doesn’t sell gummies
  • Third-party tests are incomplete & hard to find

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

Product Lineup 4.5/5

Endoca’s lineup includes many product types, special raw formulas, and highly potent options. The only thing missing is CBD gummies.

Price & Value 4/5

Endoca’s prices might seem fairly average at first. But when you consider the strict quality control, full-spectrum extracts rich in cannabinoids and terpenes, GMP certification, quality ingredients, and the access program, the value goes up.

Hemp Quality 4.5/5

Endoca directly grows organic hemp in one of the best climates and soils in the world: Denmark. It also tests the plants themselves for safety and potency. But it needs to provide proof that its hemp is certified organic.

Third-Party Testing 4.5/5

Endoca has an extensive, publicly-available database of lab tests. We like how detailed and comprehensive its in-house testing is and the test results prove that the products are safe and accurate. But we’d like to see more rigorous, better-organized third-party testing.

Customer Service & Reputation 5/5

Endoca has a nearly spotless reputation with an average 4.6/5-star rating from over 4000 reviews on Trustpilot. It’s also one of the oldest and most transparent CBD brands.

Endoca Overview

Named after the endocannabinoid system, Endoca was founded in 2010 by Danish biochemist Henry Vincenty. The company has strict quality standards and uses the latest scientific methods to make quality CBD products.

It was one of the first vendors to sell CBD products online and offers CBD oils, capsules, suppositories, crystals, topicals, and more. Most are made with full-spectrum CBD, including a special raw formula that preserves hemp extract in its most natural state.

Endoca is also a vertically-integrated brand, which means it controls every step of the production process. It grows organic hemp in Denmark in partnership with local farmers, extracts it with a clean, gentle CO2 extraction process, and formulates products in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certified facility. It also does rigorous in-house testing at every step.

Endoca’s mission is to promote the health benefits of hemp & cannabis and support environmental sustainability.

CBD Terminology

  • Terpenes: aromatic plant compounds with a wide variety of beneficial properties (1).
  • Minor cannabinoids: CBN, CBG, and other beneficial cannabinoids found in smaller amounts than CBD. For hemp, THC also counts as a minor cannabinoid.
  • Hemp: non-intoxicating cannabis variety with high CBD and low THC levels (less than 0.3%).
  • Full-spectrum: whole-plant hemp extract containing multiple cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. This form of CBD is about 4 times more potent than pure CBD (2).
  • Broad-spectrum: whole-plant hemp extract similar to full-spectrum CBD, but with THC removed (may contain trace amounts).
  • CBD isolate: pure CBD with all other hemp compounds removed.

Endoca Product Lineup

Endoca sells a wide variety of primarily full-spectrum CBD products. It offers CBD oils, capsules, creams, extracts, suppositories, crystals, gum, CBD for dogs, and even hemp flower. Endoca also sells a few hemp seed and vitamin products.

Each product category offers multiple strengths and formulas and all products are GMP-certified and tested either in-house or also by a third-party lab.

Endoca’s full-spectrum CBD oil comes in medium (30 mg/ml), strong (150 mg/ml), and extra strong potencies (300 mg/ml). They’re available in 2, 10, and 30 ml bottles.

You can also choose between regular and raw full-spectrum CBD oil. The raw oil is made minimally processed without heat to preserve high levels of CBDa, the precursor molecule to CBD. Both oils are made with hemp seed oil as the carrier, unlike the MCT oil used by most brands. Hemp seed oil is highly nutritious but it does have a strong taste.

That’s why Endoca also offers THC-free CBD isolate oil flavored with chocolate mint for people who dislike the taste. All in all, these are some of the best CBD oils on the market.

Endoca also sells a peppermint CBD chewing gum with 10 mg of full-spectrum CBD per piece. Sweetened for taste with mint and xylitol, this gum is designed to be refreshing, calming, and biodegradable. This is a unique option for getting your daily dose of CBD and can be pretty effective since the CBD is absorbed effectively in the mouth’s mucous membranes, similar to how you take sublingual CBD oil.

Hemp Flower (UK only)

Given its deep appreciation of the hemp plant, it’s not surprising to see Endoca also offers raw hemp flower and even hemp kief (but these only seem to be available in the UK).

CBD Pet Products

Endoca offers four different products marketed toward dogs. These are actually identical to the human products and include the raw CBD oil tinctures, CBD extract, and CBD isolate crystals.

Price & Value

The easiest way to compare the value of CBD products is to divide the total cost by the amount of CBD. For example, if you have a 1500 mg CBD oil that costs $100, its price per milligram (mg) of CBD would be 100/1500 = $0.07.

You also have to consider that the prices vary by product type.

Here’s the breakdown of Endoca’s prices:

  • CBD oil: $0.05-0.10 per mg of CBD
  • Capsules: $0.09-0.10 per mg
  • Topicals: $0.05-0.20 per mg
  • CBD isolate: $0.05 per mg
  • CBD Paste extracts: $0.10 per mg

Most of these prices are considered average or slightly below average. Having said that, you’re still getting great value because of Endoca’s strict quality control, use of whole-plant extracts rich in minor cannabinoids and terpenes, and other quality ingredients.

The company also has an Endoca Foundation Access Program which provides a 50% discount for low-income households, people with disabilities, and veterans.

Hemp Source and Production Process

Endoca’s founder and CEO Henry Vincenty in the company’s hemp fields in Denmark

Endoca controls the whole process from the hemp plants to the finished product to ensure quality and consistency.

It grows over 1000 acres of organic hemp in Denmark with sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices in partnership with local farmers. Denmark is known to have one of the most fertile and clean soils in the world.

This hemp is extracted with supercritical CO2 extraction to create full-spectrum extracts with a chemical composition that’s as close as possible to that found in the original hemp plant.

Carbon dioxide extraction is considered the leading, science-based method of extracting CBD and other beneficial compounds from hemp. Endoca is highly experienced at using the CO2 process, as highlighted by its many educational videos.

Endoca combines its hemp extracts with natural, quality ingredients. For example, unlike most CBD brands, it uses hemp seed oil as a carrier oil for CBD instead of the cheaper coconut oil. It’s also unique for offering raw CBD products, which undergo no heating to preserve high levels of CBDa, the parent molecule of CBD.

Endoca also has a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certificate, a system for making sure that products are made according to stringent quality standards.

In summary, every detail in the production of Endoca products is carefully thought out to produce top-tier, full-spectrum CBD products.

Third-Party Testing

Testing done by an independent lab is essential because it confirms that a CBD brand is selling effective and safe products. These tests verify that the product contains what it says on the label and is free of potential contaminants.

Endoca takes a different approach by doing most of its testing in its in-house lab. It tests the cannabinoid & terpene levels and checks for over 300 contaminants at 4 stages:

  • The raw harvested hemp flowers
  • The crude CO2 hemp extract
  • The extract mixed with other ingredients
  • The finished product

In addition to that, Endoca also sends some products for third-party cannabinoid potency testing to Botanacor, one of the most reputable hemp testing labs in the U.S.

You can find Endoca’s internal and third-party test results on its quality reports page

Third-Party Test Results

We always look at third-party lab test results to confirm that CBD companies sell safe and accurate products. We check:

  • The levels of CBD, which should be within 10% of the label (3)
  • The levels of minor cannabinoids like CBG and CBC
  • The levels of THC
  • Whether the CBD type (full, broad-spectrum, or isolate) is accurate
  • Whether there are any contaminants

Since Endoca focuses mostly on in-house testing, we looked at two of its latest internal and two third-party test certificates of analysis (CoAs). Here’s a quick summary of the test findings:

  • An internal CoA of the 20% raw CBD extract showed no contaminants, multiple cannabinoids and terpenes, and a total CBD/CBDa content of 21.9%, which is only 7% higher than the advertised 20%
  • A third-party CoA of the same product (20% raw extract paste) also found numerous cannabinoids and 20.6% of CBD/CBDa, which is only 3% higher than the label
  • An internal CoA of the 50 mg CBD capsules also found no contaminants, many cannabinoids and terpenes, and accurate CBD levels, but no THC was detected
  • A third-party CoA of the 3% raw CBD oil showed multiple cannabinoids with an accurate amount of CBD/CBDa: 3.24% vs. the advertised 3%, a difference of only 8%

These are great test results that confirm that Endoca’s products are made with high-quality full-spectrum hemp extract and are accurate in cannabinoid content. The fact that Botanacor’s findings are similar to Endoca’s confirms that its in-house test results can be trusted as much as a third-party lab.

But we would like Endoca to do a better job of organizing its test results, especially by separating the third-party CoAs into a separate section. It would also be nice to see more frequent and comprehensive third-party testing but this isn’t a major downside.

One of the only negative findings we saw is that many of Endoca’s in-house tests, like the capsules CoA we included, don’t show THC. Small amounts of THC should be present in full-spectrum CBD products.

But we think this may be because Endoca’s internal testing isn’t able to pick up low levels of THC. All of the third-party test results we looked at did find THC.

Overall, Endoca is doing a great job with its testing and the results prove that its products are of high quality.

Shipping & Returns

Endoca is one of the few CBD brands that ship worldwide, including restrictive countries like Australia and Canada. Its main facilities are located in Europe but it also has a separate facility in the United States for U.S. orders. Endoca offers free shipping on U.S. orders over $74 and over $100 for most other countries.

Orders to the U.S. typically take between 3-7 days to ship. Orders to Greece take around 10 days. If you are ordering from Norway, Australia, Greenland, Canada, Thailand, Turkey, or Russia it may take an additional 3-6 weeks because of increased security measures at customs.

You have 30 days from receiving the product to make a return if you are not happy with it. You will then receive a full refund within 14 days of receiving the returned product. Simply email the Endoca support team for instructions. There is a limit of two times that you can return a product for a full refund, except under special circumstances.

Customer Service & Reputation

Endoca is one of the most reputable CBD companies on the market. It’s a true pioneer of the CBD industry and has been around for over a decade. We also like that it’s incredibly transparent about its entire production process and provides a lot of educational resources on its website.

Endoca has over 4,700 satisfied customer reviews on the independent review website Trustpilot with an average score of 4.6 out of 5 stars. The reviews praise the great customer service, simple and very high-quality products, and fast shipping.

We also found the company helpful because they responded right away when we emailed them with a question about their products.

Our Verdict: High-Quality, Potent CBD That’s As Close to Natural as Possible

Whether you’ve been using CBD for years, or you’re a CBD “newbie,” Endoca is an excellent choice. The company has a strong commitment to quality and providing CBD products in their most natural and arguably effective form.

Its hemp is organic and grown sustainably in one of the best climates for hemp farming: Denmark. It’s also an incredibly transparent brand, providing details about its entire production process and the company’s backstory.

Endoca’s products are made with full-spectrum CBD, made in a GMP-certified facility, have several potencies suitable for different people, and aren’t overpriced.

Endoca also does a great job of testing its products, although we’d like to see more extensive and better organized third-party test reports.
