Aire CBD Overview
Aire CBD is a British CBD company from Leeds. It offers THC-free, broad-spectrum CBD oil without any bells or whistles, which makes sense for a relatively new company.
This CBD oil is manufactured in the Netherlands, one of the best sources of high-quality hemp.
Aire CBD provides third-party lab tests for its products and is a member of the UK Cannabis Trades Association, the country’s leading organization for CBD and cannabis businesses.
CBD Terminology
- Hemp: cannabis variety with high CBD and low THC levels (no more than 0.3%).
- Terpenes: aromatic plant compounds with various beneficial properties (1).
- Minor cannabinoids: CBN, CBG, CBC, and other beneficial cannabinoids found in smaller amounts in hemp. They may work in synergy with CBD.
- Full-spectrum: whole-plant hemp extract containing multiple cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. This form of CBD is about four times more potent than pure CBD (2).
- Broad-spectrum: whole-plant hemp extract similar to full-spectrum CBD, but with THC removed (may contain trace amounts).
- CBD isolate: pure CBD without any other hemp compounds.
Aire CBD Product Lineup
At this time, Aire CBD offers only THC-free CBD oil with three strengths: 5%, 10%, and 15%. However, the company is planning to add creams, balms, and other products in the near future.
Aire CBD Oil

CBD Potency | 50-150 mg/ml |
Volume | 10 ml |
Total CBD | 500–1500 mg |
Cost per mg | £0.07-0.08 |
Type | Broad-spectrum |
Third-Party Test | View report |
Aire CBD offers THC-free broad-spectrum CBD with three strengths: 5% (50 mg/ml), 10% (100 mg/ml) and 15% (150 mg/ml). All of these strengths are considered high so you won’t need to take many drops to feel an effect.
These tinctures come in 10 ml bottles and use hemp seed oil as the carrier ingredient to dissolve the CBD. As such, these CBD oils can have a strong flavor.
The third-party tests confirm that these tinctures are free of THC, except for the 15% oil, with test results showing a trace amount (0.02%) of THC.
Price & Value
The easiest way to compare the prices of different CBD products to see if you’re getting a good deal is to divide the total cost by the amount of CBD. For example, if you have a 1500 mg CBD oil that costs $100, its price per mg would be 100/1500 = $0.07.
Aire CBD’s oils cost £0.07-0.08 per mg of CBD, which is considered a fairly average price.
Hemp Source and Production Process
Aire CBD’s oils are made in the Netherlands. They’re sourced from local organic hemp plants. The Dutch have been cultivating hemp for hundreds of years, making the country one of the best sources of high-quality hemp in the world.
However, the company doesn’t specify if the hemp is extracted with carbon dioxide (CO2) or ethanol, which are the two most common methods of isolating CBD and other beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes from hemp.
Third-Party Testing
Aire CBD products go through two rounds of testing. The first tests are done by an undisclosed EU lab, presumably based in the Netherlands. The second round of tests is done in England, by the testing lab Adact Medical.
These tests check the potency (levels of CBD and other cannabinoids) of the products to make sure they match the label.
However, Aire CBD does not order tests for pesticides and other contaminants. These tests are helpful because hemp plants can absorb heavy metals and other contaminants from the soil (3). They can also be contaminated with mold and other microorganisms.
Third-Party Test Results

I always check the third-party lab test results posted by companies to confirm that their products are safe and contain the labeled amount of CBD. More specifically, I look at:
- The levels of CBD (should be within 10% of the label, according to experts) (4)
- The levels of THC
- The levels of minor cannabinoids (the more, the better)
The third-party tests posted above confirm that Aire CBD’s oils contain the advertised amount of CBD. They also show the presence of multiple cannabinoids, which is what you want to see from a proper broad-spectrum CBD product.
The only criticism is that the test results for the 15% CBD oil show trace levels of THC (0.02%, see above test result screenshot). Although this is a small amount and the tests for the other tinctures didn’t find THC, this does go against Aire’s claims that all of its oils are THC-free.
Also, I found that the test results were a little dated (more than a year old).
Overall, Aire CBD’s third-party tests confirm that you’re getting a safe and effective CBD oil. However, there is room for improvement and I’d like to see contaminant tests added.
Shipping & Returns
Aire CBD ships to the UK and most EU countries, except for Germany, Denmark, Slovakia, Malta & Finland. The company uses first and second-class Royal Mail shipping with an estimated delivery time of 2-4 days for the UK.
The company offers full refunds or exchanges for unopened CBD products.
Customer Service & Reputation
Aire CBD is a fairly new CBD brand. However, the few customer reviews on its website are positive. Additionally, there are more customer reviews on the independent review website Trustpilot, with an average 4.6/5 star rating.
I also emailed Aire CBD with a question and received a helpful answer within a day. All in all, Aire CBD looks like a trustworthy brand, even if it does need to build its name.
My Verdict: A Solid CBD Oil Brand for the UK & EU
If you live in the UK or EU, Aire CBD is a decent choice for THC-free CBD oil. It’s good that the company is only offering CBD oil for now, since that makes sense for a new brand. I also like that it uses high-quality Dutch hemp and formulates its tinctures with hemp seed oil instead of coconut oil.
Having said that, there is room to improve. The company needs to make sure all of its CBD oils are free of THC since I did find one third-party test showing a small amount of the cannabinoid.
I’d also trust Aire CBD more if they provided third-party tests for contaminants and more information about how its hemp is grown and processed in the Netherlands.
